Walldog Murals
The Magical History Tour: A historic walking tour of public art
The Keene Walldogs murals average 350 square feet and are painted to last for decades to come. Each mural is designed by a Walldog, the mural designers were chosen by the team leader Peter Poanessa. Peter is local to the area and a Walldog himself — giving him a unique perspective on matching our chosen themes with the appropriate mural designer. Each chosen designer received a specially prepared packet containing an in-depth history of the mural subject, and this information was the basis for the mural designs.
We have maps located in City Hall, 3 Washington Street in the Clerk's office or here is an online map. Enjoy the art work and read the descriptions of how they came to be.
