Wedding Anniversaries
Tips for the Perfect Wedding Anniversary Celebration at The Summit Winery
Celebrating a wedding anniversary at a winery offers a unique and enchanting atmosphere, whether you choose an indoor or outdoor setting. Here are some tips to ensure your celebration is perfect.
1. Choose the Right Venue
Selecting the perfect winery is crucial. Consider the size of your guest list and choose a winery that can comfortably accommodate everyone. For an outdoor celebration, check if the winery offers scenic views, beautiful gardens, or vineyards. Indoor spaces should be elegant and cozy, reflecting the intimate nature of the event.
2. Plan the Menu Carefully
Wineries often provide exquisite food and wine pairings. Collaborate with the venue’s chef or caterer to create a menu that highlights the winery’s best offerings. Include a variety of wines for tasting, paired with appetizers, main courses, and desserts. Consider any dietary restrictions your guests might have.
3. Decorate with Elegance
Enhance the natural beauty of the winery with tasteful decorations. For outdoor events, consider string lights, floral arrangements, and rustic elements like wooden signs and barrels. Indoor celebrations can benefit from elegant table settings, candles, and subtle lighting. Personal touches, like photos from the couple’s journey together, add a meaningful touch.
4. Entertainment and Activities
Keep your guests entertained with activities that suit the venue. Outdoor events can feature lawn games, live music, or a guided tour of the vineyard. For indoor celebrations, consider hiring a live band or a DJ, or arranging a wine tasting experience. Interactive activities, like a photo booth or a memory-sharing session, can also create lasting memories.
5. Weather Considerations
If you’re planning an outdoor anniversary celebration, always have a backup plan in case of inclement weather. Many wineries offer tents or indoor spaces that can be used as a contingency. For indoor events, ensure the space is comfortable and well-ventilated.
6. Capture the Moments
Hire a professional photographer or videographer to document the celebration. The picturesque setting of a winery provides a stunning backdrop for photos and videos. Encourage guests to take their own photos and share them on social media with a unique hashtag.
With these tips, you can create a memorable and magical wedding anniversary celebration at a winery, ensuring that the couple and their guests have an unforgettable experience.

Company Outings/Events
Recent company meeting event held at The Summit Winery by a local business was a great success!
Tips for Holding a Business Event at The Summit Winery in NH
Hosting a business event at a local winery can offer a unique and unforgettable experience for your guests. The Summit Winery in New Hampshire, with its scenic views and top-tier wine selection, is the perfect venue for blending professional networking with a touch of relaxation and elegance. Here are some key tips to ensure your business event is a success when hosting at The Summit Winery.
1. Know Your Event Goals
Before you even book the venue, it's important to define the purpose of your business event. Whether you're hosting a corporate meeting, a networking mixer, or a team-building retreat, understanding the goal will help you make informed decisions about the venue, the schedule, and the activities. A relaxed winery setting can be ideal for fostering connections and building relationships, so consider incorporating time for casual conversation and wine tasting to create a more relaxed atmosphere.
2. Take Advantage of the Winery’s Scenic Views
One of the biggest draws of The Summit Winery is its breathtaking views. The winery is nestled in the beautiful New Hampshire countryside, offering sweeping vistas of the surrounding area. If your event is during the warmer months, consider hosting your gathering outside to take full advantage of the natural beauty. An outdoor gathering with wine in hand, overlooking the vineyards, can provide the perfect backdrop for conversations and networking.
3. Incorporate Wine Tasting into Your Event
At The Summit Winery, you’re surrounded by an impressive selection of wines. Incorporating a wine-tasting session into your event not only highlights the local flavors, but it also offers an opportunity for guests to bond over shared experiences. You can work with the winery staff to curate a tasting experience that aligns with your event’s tone—whether that’s a more formal wine pairing or a casual wine flight to encourage mingling.
4. Keep Your Event Agenda Balanced
While the setting is relaxed, it’s still important to strike a balance between business and leisure. Make sure to have a clear agenda in place that allows for meaningful interactions while also leaving time for guests to unwind and enjoy the environment. Consider mixing presentations or discussions with more informal moments, like a wine tasting or a brief outdoor tour of the vineyard. You could also plan team-building activities that can be easily integrated with the space.
5. Leverage Local Catering Options
The Summit Winery may offer its own catering options or have preferred vendors, so it’s worth inquiring about local food pairings to complement the wine experience. If you’re planning a larger event, a local caterer can offer a range of menu options, from hors d'oeuvres to full-course meals. A locally sourced menu featuring fresh ingredients and regional specialties will not only impress your guests but also align with the winery's community-oriented atmosphere.
6. Use the Winery’s Event Facilities
The Summit Winery is more than just a beautiful setting—it also offers versatile indoor event spaces. If you're hosting a larger business meeting or presentation, make use of the winery’s facilities, which are designed to accommodate groups with all the amenities needed for a successful business event. Ensure you check the room setup, audio-visual equipment, and seating arrangements ahead of time to ensure everything flows smoothly.
7. Plan for Transportation and Parking
Since wineries are often located in more rural areas, it’s essential to consider transportation logistics for your guests. Check to see if The Summit Winery offers shuttle services, or consider arranging group transportation if your event will have many out-of-town guests. Additionally, make sure there’s ample parking space for attendees who drive to the event, particularly if your event will span several hours.
8. Incorporate Fun, Interactive Activities
The relaxed nature of a winery offers the perfect opportunity to engage your attendees with unique, interactive activities. From team-building exercises like grape-stomping challenges to wine-and-cheese pairings, there are plenty of ways to make your event more memorable. The more you can involve your guests in the experience, the more likely they’ll engage, remember, and speak highly of the event.
9. Mind the Seasonality of the Winery
Wine events are often season-dependent, so be sure to consider the time of year. New Hampshire’s weather can be unpredictable, so if you're hosting an outdoor event, have a backup plan in case of rain or cold temperatures. Alternatively, an indoor event during the winter months can still showcase the winery’s beauty and charm. Also, inquire about any seasonal events or special wine releases that you can incorporate into your business event for an extra touch of exclusivity.
10. Follow Up After the Event
After your event, don't forget to follow up with your attendees. Whether it's thanking them for their time or sharing highlights and takeaways from the event, a thoughtful follow-up can help reinforce the relationships you've built. Since wine is such a key element of the event, consider sending a small gift or personalized wine bottle as a token of appreciation.
Hosting a business event at The Summit Winery in New Hampshire is a fantastic way to combine the charm of a local vineyard with the professionalism of your event. By considering the atmosphere, planning engaging activities, and taking advantage of the stunning surroundings, you’ll create a memorable and productive experience for your guests. Just remember to focus on blending business and leisure, and the results will speak for themselves!
