Modestman Brewing
Modestman Brewing is the brain-child of Ash Sheehan, owner/operator. With a curated team of the finest Master Brewers and professional tasting room staff, the brewery continues to grow over the united belief that brewing beer and the communal experience of shared pints, must be intentional and reflective of where our passions lie. Ultimately, we lead the business with reverence and respect to the industry and our customers who share our beer.
Modestman aims to put New Hampshire on the map for superior New England style beers with the goal to elevate the classic American brewpub, showcasing a deep respect for the beer and intentionality to the culture it celebrates!

“We had lunch mid-afternoon yesterday. Service was good and I have to recommend the onion rings. Perfect! Made in house with a thin, light, delicious crust. French fries are great but the onion rings are outstanding. I definitely recommend this restaurant!”

Hermit Thrush Brewery
Fermenting since 2014 with only wild Brattleboro mixed culture yeast. continually pushing boundaries of new sour beer. brewhouse fueled by wood, not fossils.
To truly understand terroir and wild yeast, a brewer must come to terms with the type of beer that “wants to be made” in their region. We are proud of Brattleboro’s wild yeast for its balance, its stone fruit and pecan character, and how dry and effervescent it leaves the beer. We are grateful to our region’s farms for the availability of world class hops and fruits, as well as to our area distilleries for unique and beautiful oak barrel flavor histories.
We delight in making beer that could only be made in our place, with our team, supported by our community and environment.
