Description
In this workshop you'll make a pair of "Heart Dangle Earrings" made of solid sterling silver, nu gold, and brass. This is a beginner jewelry making class. Individuals or small groups are welcome. Participants will experience many jewelry making techniques: punching (cutting hearts), texturing (hammering), dress the cut edges (filing), riveting (drilling, filing, fitting pieces together, cold connecting), and polishing. This class is led by Jim and Andrea Lorette of Jayelay (JLA) Jewelers at Rabbit Ridge Studios and the Summit Winery located at 719 Route 12 in Westmoreland, NH. Within this 2-hour class, Jim and Andrea will walk you step by step through the process of making this pendant. Class size is 6 participants. All materials and tools are provided. This experience includes a beverage provided by the winery. Please bring reading glasses if you need help with seeing objects up close.
