Description:
Quick and cute multicolored basket weaving workshop led by Meg Kupiec of Rowan Tree Crafts at Rabbit Ridge Artisans at the Summit Winery. You will find lots of uses for this sturdy little basket. The framework is half inch reed, but you can vary the sizes and colors for the sides to personalize it. You will learn some basketry basics that include various weaving methods using mostly flat reeds. Please bring water bucket, old towel, sturdy scissors, small straight edge screwdriver, strong clothespins and your sense of humor! Within this 2-hour class, Meg will walk you step by step through the process of weaving this basket and you can leave with your finished project. Class size is 8 participants.
