Title: Intermediate Blacksmithing: Crafting a Barbecue Fork

Activities: Forging a double tined barbecue fork.

Must have attended the hook or knife class beforehand.

Cost: $160 which includes a beverage provided by the winery

Class time: 4.5 hours + a 30-minute break (bring your own lunch)

Class Size: 4 working, onlookers welcome

Ready to elevate your blacksmithing skills and create a functional

masterpiece? In this hands-on intermediate class, you’ll forge your very

own custom barbecue fork—a tool that combines form, function, and flair

for your summer cookouts.

Under the expert guidance of a seasoned blacksmith, you’ll learn advanced

forging techniques, such as precision tapering, twisting, and designing a

balanced, ergonomic handle. Whether you're aiming for a classic rustic look

or something with a touch of modern flair, you'll gain the skills to craft a

one-of-a-kind fork that’s perfect for flipping steaks, skewering veggies, or

turning sausages on the grill.

By the end of the class, you'll walk away with a beautifully crafted tool

that’s as impressive in the forge as it is on the grill. So grab your hammer

and tongs, fire up your creativity, and let’s make a barbecue fork that’ll

turn heads and impress at every cookout!

- Advanced forging techniques (tapering, twisting, and shaping)

All students must wear long, cotton pants (jeans) and closed toe

shoes.

as you design and forge your own custom-made creations.

Small Class Sizes: Classes are limited to 4 people.

This class is perfect for blacksmiths who have mastered the basics and are
